John Krasinski's "A Quiet Place" is an atmospheric horror film set in a post-apocalyptic near-future where humanity has finally met its natural predator. It follows a family trying their best to survive their day to day life making as little noise as possible avoid being noticed by the terrible creatures that now occupy their world. The film does an amazing job at making you feel the tension of every little noise. From a baby's cry to a stray footstep, every sound has you sitting on the edge of your seat.
While the film does have a couple slow moments they serve as excellent methods to build the world and show the toll this life takes on people. A Quiet Place is a must watch for any horror fan, and we here at Critically Absurd TV give this terrifying movie a 4.5 out of 5
