Hey guys, its Lauren here giving you all the details and important things to know about the new expansion for Sims 4: Realms of Magic. Since this expansion was announced, I already knew that my real-life simoleons would be used to acquire this pack because the Supernatural expansion in Sims 3 was one of my favorites to not only play with, but for challenges as well. As the "spiritual" successor to Sims: Makin' Magic with some extra elements sprinkled in from Sims 2: Apartment Life and Sims 3: Supernatural, I was very excited to see what having this pack would turn my Sims 4 gameplay into. Thankfully, I was not disappointed.
RoM has given players the chance to learn/hone their craft from sorcery experts, and even the chance to become a Spellcaster after completing a quest. The expansion also features the new forest location of Glimmerbrook with a hidden little secret portal that will transport your sim into a separate floating location called The Magic Realm. If this hasn't already interested you, one of my favorite things that is offered is the ability to have an ethereal familiar. By having a familiar, you can give your sim an added bonus in magic duels, and can also protect your sim from death.

I would definitely recommend adding this new expansion if you haven already, and I would even go as far to say that this is by far my favorite expansion that has released so far. However, the grinding of leveling up magic skills can be a little tedious, but is ultimately worth it to make your Spellcaster as advanced as possible. With all of that being said, I would also like to touch on the rumor that has been floating around about the next expansion. Rumor has it that the developers have finally listened to the Sims community, and will be releasing University as the next expansion! Again, nothing is confirmed at this time, however I know I will be once again spending my simoleons on that one as well.
Sims 4: Realms of Magic is available now to play on PC/Mac, and will be released for consoles on October 15, 2019.
Thank you guys for taking the time to read my review of Sims 4: Realms of Magic!
