Hey guys its Lauren, and this week I will be talking about my favorite boss battles from the game Luigi’s Mansion 3 and ways to help defeat these ghosts. While I am super sad that we beat the game, I have to say I had such a fun time playing it. From laughing about the way that Gooigi talks to seeing all the cool areas of the hotel, there was never a dull moment.
5. King MacFrights
Not only was this level super cool due to the fact that you are basically transported to a castle while on this floor, but the puzzles were also fun to solve as well. When it comes to defeating this boss, wait until he starts to charge at you, then use the Stobulb to stun him. You will then have to use the suction cup on his armor. After doing this three times, he will be defeated, but make sure to watch out for the arrows in the meantime.
4. DJ Phatasmagoria
First off, her hair and attitude are EVERYTHING. This level was pretty cool and unique because it was one of the only ones in a boss battle where you had to use the Stomp ability. At the start of the battle, Luigi is the monkey in the middle of the ghosts playing and passing the button until you use the Strobulb to flash them and vacuum them up. Make sure to avoid the DJ’s flaming vinyl records as she throws them at you, and use the Stomp ability to knock off her afro allowing Luigi to stun her.
3. Polterkitty
Special shoutout to this little heathen as the only boss that you face not only once, but twice in the game! While in this form, Polterkitty looks all sweet and mischievous, but later has the gremlin effect take over and turns into a monster. For both battles, you will have to use Gooigi to wait until the cat is about to pounce on Luigi and zap her right before she attacks.
2. Serpci
From the part on this floor where it has the big open room with the pyramid, to the tomb with the mummies inside, there are a ton of puzzles. Between vacuuming and blowing the sand, you never know what your going to find hidden in the sand. When it comes to Serpci, once the battle starts, follow her to where she is heading, while she will produce a sand dune with serpents around it. She will use the large giant head with serpents to attack you, but get the serpents to stun themselves, and when they miss a strike attack them. You can then destroy the serpents before the head disappears. Warning: Occasionally, Serpci will come out without the large head and throw spikes around in all corners, and she has impeccable aim.
1. Nikki, Lindsey, and Ginny
These three are trouble, but super hilarious. The magic theme of this floor is SO cool. Once you get to their boss battle, make sure you are keeping track of the hats, otherwise you will pull out a bomb instead of hat and get hurt. Other than that, make sure to enjoy this fun level!
